Manhattan Review is an international services company based in New York, with operations in major North American, European, Asian, and African cities. We are therefore able to combine our expertise in American standardized testing with firsthand knowledge of student needs in each community we serve, which creates an ideal situation for Cape Town students. Manhattan Review has staffed our local team with the top SAT educators in Cape Town, who bring strong academic credentials and significant teaching experience to a rigorous instructor training process. Our company has been facilitating academic accomplishment since we offered our first prep courses in 1999, and thousands of students have successfully achieved their academic goals under our guidance.
Manhattan Review's SAT prep courses and private tutoring have been completely revamped for the new SAT in 2016. Many of our competitors are satisfied with offering outdated SAT instruction, but at Manhattan Review, we realize that many of the old approaches to SAT prep are no longer relevant. The 2016 SAT is a completely different assessment in terms of its content areas, organization, administration, and scoring, and these revisions demand SAT prep that matches the thinking behind the new test. For example, students no longer derive the same degree of benefit from vocabulary memorization, since the new SAT emphasizes word usage in the context of specific textual passages. SAT math exercises now draw on real-world scenarios, and focus less on math skills for their own sake. Manhattan Review's SAT tutors and instructors implement new methodologies that teach our students how to acquire the abilities that are most important for the new SAT, ensuring that student scores don't suffer from obsolete instruction.
Manhattan Review's SAT prep services have helped countless students live their dreams of attending the most selective universities, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the California Institute of Technology, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, Johns Hopkins, Duke, Dartmouth, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Virginia. These students have reaped all of the benefits of high-quality education and secured lucrative employment at many of the world's top organizations. Former Manhattan Review clients are now employed by a number of Fortune 500 companies, such as Exxon Mobil, Express Scripts Holding, Archer Daniels Midland, and Dow Chemical. They've also been hired by many of Cape Town's most important businesses, including African News Agency, Coronation Fund Managers, Ceres Fruit Juices, and Pick n Pay Stores. Cape Town students can begin working on their own bright future right away with Manhattan Review's SAT prep courses and private tutoring.

Meet a Cape Town SAT Tutor: Rory S.
Rory S. was born in Ireland, and his family immigrated to the United States just before he started high school. His SAT scores, which were in the 99th percentile of all test-takers, helped him get accepted to Yale University, where he completed a bachelor's degree in history. He also holds a master's degree in public policy from Duke University, and eventually plans to pursue doctoral study.
Rory has six years of experience as an SAT tutor, and has also taught GRE prep courses for three years. His teaching has helped students get accepted to undergraduate and graduate programs at Stanford, Brown, UCLA, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Chicago, and several other schools in the United States. Outside of teaching and history, his most avid interest is Irish traditional music, and he is an accomplished amateur fiddler.
